I’ve seen a little change in my focus this week.  And it’s ALL. GOOD.

I decided about a month and a half ago that I was no longer going to teach my Hatha and Aqua Yoga on Saturday mornings.  Now, let’s be clear, I LOVED teaching that class.  However, it was a half-hour drive to the middle of nowhere, which means if no one shows up, then it’s a long drive back without the opportunity to teach.  Being as I’m a busy, working momma,  that was just too much time away from Lovebugs #1 & #2.  So I decided I needed to let that go.  Sadbecausese I LOVE that space, but much better for my family.

I had then talked with a tiny, local gym about teaching a class there a once a week in the evenings.  But that didn’t work out so well for my schedule either.

Soooo…. that leads me to my next Yoga step.  It dawned on me.  THIS, YOU are my community.  I started this blog months ago as an avenue to teach beyond my tiny little town…and my blog is my class room.  You want yoga flows?  I’ve GOT yoga flows!

Then I started thinking about the focus of this blog.  This site is for busy working momma.  We don’t have time for 60-90 minute yoga classes!  We have to save our children from falling off the couches, cooking dinner and listening to webinars…all at the same time.  But we CAN make 20 minutes of Yoga a possibility.  Even if it’s with the kiddos climbing on our heads, we can certainly take 20 minutes to focus on strength flexibility and deep breathing.  THAT is doable.

So that’s where we’re heading now.  For the month of August, I’m going to publish a new 20-minute yoga flows to practice when you have a free moment.  Each week will have a different focus to help you on your Wellness Journey.   Girls, I am so excited about this!  I hope you are too!

AM Yoga Practice

Mornings are my far my favorite time of the day.  I might be a little crazy, but I wake up at 4:30 every morning to Meditate, work out, and write.  I love watching the sun rise over a 14,000 ft mountain and knowing I’m already a little ahead of the day.

Practicing yoga in the morning helps to wake up the body and mind, increase your focus and balances your spirit to prepare you for the chaos of the day.
